3. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We are committed to transparency around how we handle your data. While Verifi Wallet does not sell your personal information, we may monetize access to certain non-personally identifiable data via API services under strict access and use controls.

3.1 Data Monetization via API

We may provide anonymized and aggregated data to third parties through secure API access. This allows external organizations to access select wallet-level risk data for purposes such as research, analytics, fraud prevention, and compliance.

Examples of monetizable data may include:

  • Wallet risk scores and heuristic labels

  • Flagged wallet categories (e.g., scams, darknet, ransomware)

  • Aggregated tagging data submitted by users or investigators

  • Public blockchain metadata linked to high-risk behavior

No personal user information or account registration details are ever shared. This includes full names, email addresses, roles, or agency affiliations. Investigator and law enforcement contact information is always hidden from API users and non-law enforcement users.

We implement both technical and contractual safeguards to prohibit re-identification. API partners are strictly forbidden from attempting to link any shared data back to an individual user, agency, or submitted report.

All data access is controlled and monitored to ensure it is used solely for lawful and approved purposes.

    • 3.2 Investigator & Law Enforcement Data Protections

We do not share law enforcement or investigator contact information with third parties. Information submitted by verified law enforcement personnel is used exclusively for internal coordination, risk assessment, and agency-to-agency communication within the platform.

      3.3 Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS) for secure data storage and platform operations. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only process it on our behalf and under our instructions.

3.4 Legal Obligations & Platform Protection

We may disclose your information to third parties if:

      • Required to do so by law (e.g., court order, subpoena)

      • Necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security breaches, or legal violations

      • Needed to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or the public
